Today starts my diet proper, I aim to lose 2 pounds this week, which isn't too much nor too little. :D So next week I want to be 15 stone 3 pounds. Then there's another two stone to go. I'm tired of not being able to run around properly so I'm going to change it. I mean... I'm not grossly overweight but if I don't sort this out I could be.

In other news, off to uni on Friday :-S
And went out pubbing with all my friends last night again, got home at 2am, had to get up at 7am but had a nap so it's k. :-D |

So hai, woke up a bit late for work, and in general was so tired out from the night before that work didn't go as swimmingly as usual. This might be an important point in the work storyline of the Nick show, might be totally ignored.
In GREAT news, I have to talk about Perplex City, so those who don't care skip along.
Other news, I mentioned earlier I was out all night, I was out with my friends at the pub. We entered a music quiz and had a great laugh, we totally sucked at it because it was all oldish music but still, who cares? :D We all laughed, chatted, drank (well I just stole slurps from other people's glasses), all sorts. Saw a few old friends I'd not seen in a while too. Out again tonight, for one final bash before university drags us all off.
And before I forget I stole this meme thing from Tracy ages ago but forgot to actually post it. :D
OH. And I rented Howl's Moving Castle since the people on NTWF kept going on about it. Gonna watch it today. |

SATURDAY = great. Had my friends around, loads of them all crammed into my living room to watch bad movies (well in the end we watched an IQ quiz, music videos and beastiality porn the Goth had for some reason). And earlier in the day with the family out I'd had a REALLY relaxing time, got to turn my music up loud and generally recharge.
SUNDAY = averagely lazy
MONDAY = busy, as well as getting up early for work I had to drop a t-shirt around to a friend who left it on Saturday, and do loads of uni shopping. It's less than two weeks till I go now, and on Monday I went and got bedding, cookery stuff, stationary and dining stuff. That was tiring to go shopping for and flail around to find in the first place. So we got back late from that and I still had to do an hour and a half of work. But overall it was a fairly good day :D
TUESDAY = can't really remember, worryingly. o__o
WEDNESDAY = My Learning Legal Rules Sixth Edition came from Amazon, I worked, I played Baldur's Gate 2, started this thing to try and lose my excess weight (I'm 2 stone 2 pounds overweight according to the shiny machine in Boots). Work, went and saw my gran, more Baldur's Gate, mailed some presents off to my niece in Japan, bought a magazine I already had because it had a pack of Perplex City cards on the front (all ones I had D-: )
I've been having urges to both restart Animal Crossing on the Gamecube, watch this flash thing called Broken Saints and I knkow I have to read this big fat book on law before I go to uni, and go through the deviations that have backlogged on DA. |

D-: My friend does not suck, I got too angry about it all.
I still think devart_horrors sucks mind you because of what it stands for but my friend does not suck, I suck for getting so overinvolved and bitchy.
And I'm officially out of that whole storyline now >__> I think the next story on the Nick Show needs to involve an evil twin and some hot sex with someone from Glasgow. |

Up early for work, and I was exhausted last night, but now I'm wide awake! Today is going to be a good day, I can feel it- I have a lot to do, like work, posting PXC trades, shopping, more work, but not so much I'll be completely beat, just enough to feel like I've actually done something today. :-3 Plus I ordered some Firebox stuff that should come today or tomorrow, and a book from Amazon.co.uk for my law course that should come soon too.
It's September! The month of university, after the month of lazing and before the month of gettingHuggsydownforthefirsttimetovisitmydorm.
Mooooovie night on Saturday, getting to see all my awesome friends and relax. Plus the whole family is gone to London so I get the place to myself most of the day. :-3 |

Oh, and I found out about this community on here called devart_horrors, full of elitest snobs mocking people who have lower quality art. :D I'm gonna go through later and leave nice comments on all the art they laugh at. I invite any other DAers to come do the same.
And how it came to my attention has led to me completely blocking and removing someone I used to chat to a lot from MSN, DA, and anywhere else I can think of. But we hardly ever talked now anyway. She's a bit of a bitch nowadays.
Also, HSBC seems to have invited me to upgrade my student account... in the middle of me doing it myself. The paperwork for what I was doing first of all came today, after a bunch of paperwork yesterday telling me I had to sign up...
I think I may be getting two student accounts. :D Good for the free stuff they give you for each account. Bad because I just know I'm going to end up losing all my money.
Oh, and I won 1.3 million meat on www.kingdomofloathing.com today, which is quite a bit x-3 I gambled a lot and won more than I lost. Fun. |

Driving test tomorrow. My third. :-/ Not looking forwards to it, I feel guilty about all the money wasted on this because I get nervous...
Starting to get panicky about uni too, I need to get so much stuff :-S
Cooked a meal for the family yesterday, spaghetti bolognase, and it was fun but I made such a mess x-d I'm gonna try and avoid that tonight when I make chilli con carne...
Movie night on Saturday though, it'll be nice to have all my mates around and just chat. I'm gonna hate not having them around at uni, but hopefully I'm gonna make a bunch of new friends too. Dunno what we're going to watch yet.

Yesterday sucked, being exhausted, jerked around by HSBC, and on yet another driving lesson. I still haven't passed D-:
But today was great, I relaxed and had good food and got a silver (rare) Perplex City card and sorted out some other PXC trades. I played a game, I did my work, got an hour extra which will cover the little gift I got Graham on eBay. Watched Spooks and generally chilled.
Tomorrow I had driving again, so I'm going to get a proper sleep tonight :D

Mum's getting emotional over me leaving ^__^;; I hope she's not like this for a whole month, but I understand her feeling this way. It's just gonna be her and my Dad in the house, and the cat (who isn't going to take my leaving well). She has more in common with me than Dad by far...
Out for a Sunday lunch tomorrow. :-3 For their anniversary, which was today. Kids don't have to get their parents cards or crap for that, right?
Had a REALLY lazy day today. Slept late, gamed, watched TV... x-3 It was nice after a week of worrying, work, bingo and booze. I bought a copy of the book I need to read before I go to uni on eBay, but it's from 1999, and there've been two revisions to it since, in 2003 (I'm bidding on a copy of that) and 2006 (Mum says I have to get that, so I'm hoping my bid on the 2003 one fails). I also have to start reading a high-profile newspaper like The Times to follow legal news.
Been reading a book called SPY: A handbook, based on the documentary SPY on BBC Three. It's pretty great, very interesting so far. I also got Wicked (they're both from the library) and that's waiting to be read.
It was pizza night tonight, which was nearly better than the university news. Pizza, garlic bread, stuffed potato skins, and Cadbury's Giant Buttons for afters. It's the reason I'm overweight, and the reason I'm the happiest on a Saturday. x-33333333
Oooooh o__o I'm watching 24: Season 3 at the mo and an actor from Desperate Housewives is in it. 24, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Heroes, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip... there's so much I'm waiting for. *TV addict*
And of course SNAKES ON A PLANE HAS COME OUT :D I wanna get the cheap rip off Snakes On A Train on DVD soon, and see the real thing. They wouldn't stop talking about it on the radio stations I was covering on Friday. One reviewer actually thought it was good o__o |

Ok, so, the rush from getting into uni is fading, and now I'm starting to worry. What if I don't like the people I live in a hall with? What if they don't like me? What if I can't keep up with the studies, the money needed, etc. etc.?
I think this is in part due to going to the pub with my friends yesterday. They're all just so... great. Friendly, funny, nice company. Sixth Form has been the best time of my life, in part due to these people, and they're not going to be there. I know I'm going to make new friends... probably.
Damn these nerves. It's gonna be fine. I think. They sent this huge Student Handbook that's sorta confused and freaked me out, but it looks like I should be able to get Graham to me easily from the airport with just a few connections- one of the main things I'm looking forwards to about uni is having him down.
The first lesson is on the 18th, just an introduction really. They've given me some reading to do before I arrive, Learning Legal Rules or something similar, and a load of forms to send back for my Student ID, so today I'm off up town for some passport photos.

In other news, I'm still as hooked as ever on Perplex City. I don't think anyone reading this will understand, but today I reached 2300 points (you get points for each puzzle card you win) and that means they're mailing me an Orange Leitmark... like... a small badge. I already have a read one. The orange one just shows you've solved even more cards, so you must be pretty smart. :-D
Except I've just solved a huge wad of the easy Red - Yellow coloured cards, but WATEVA. >:-3

Urgh, just noticed it's raining out. Going up town may be delayed until tomorrow. Which'd be nice anyway because it's such awful weather out, and I'm pretty tired. I've been working since 7am, and one of the main stories they've been reporting on is lightning hitting a train station, rain coating the roads, that sorta thing.
Now Shania Twain's come on the radio so I'm off to dance around :D |

Hello all. ^__^
I think I've decided to dust this off... I was going to do something else to keep people in contact with what's going on in my life but that involves effort, which I'm not really into, ya dig?
News from Nick's life:
LOTS of working. I work in this awesome job, I listen to the radio and type out what's being said, for a good pay. I can just roll out of bed and work. :-D But it means early mornings and they've not been working out well for me. I'm constantly tired.
That might also be something to do with nerves over the exam results on Thursday... I honestly have no idea how it's going to go. I think I got an A in Geography... but I'm worried that having that sort of hope can lead to disaster. I probably got a B in English Language... I got a B constantly throughout the course, but I think I did pretty bad on the final exam.
Psychology. Urgh.
But I need ABC or BBB to get into the uni I want to... UWE. It's perfect. An hour away from where I live, close enough to keep in contact with the family, far enough away to be independent. Great course (I wanna do law). Brand new accomodation, no suspicious stains or anything... I'd love to be able to have Graham come visit me too.
